Rowing is the most appropriate and authentic way to see the Delta truly and leisurely, not in the rush of fast boats. With rowing boats you have the opportunity to understand the phenomena and landscapes that surround you in this world of water.
We are waiting for you with your friends, for a real adventure on the canals of the Danube Delta and the Razelm lagoon complex, aboard an ''exotic'' boat, namely the catamaran made up of 2 Canadian canoes.
Connected together with a system of crossbars, the result is the most stable rowing boat, being almost impossible to overturn, having a lifting capacity of about 700 kg, thus being able to carry a crew of 4 people with all their equipment. the necessary for such an excursion, without having to worry about waves or strong winds. The boat's shape provides increased space for camping equipment and luggage.
With a crew of 3-5 people, the canoe-catamaran gives groups of friends the opportunity to be shoulder to shoulder, paddling together in this unforgettable adventure.
The catamaran is probably the most practical recreational boat, ideal for crossing the canals, and especially the expanses of water of the Delta. With the help of the catamaran you can reach places where rare species of plants and birds are still found, which you can observe and photograph up close.
Rowboats remain the most environmentally friendly means of transportation, in contrast to the high-powered speedboats increasingly used by tourists who come to visit the Delta, making noise and large waves, driving away flocks of birds.
Thus, kayakers and canoeists can traverse all the waters of the Delta, without being restricted by the authorities or the flow and depth of the channels. During the canoe trip, most of the Delta's landscapes will be encountered: canals, fields, reed fields, lakes, swampy forests, bird colonies, sand dunes.
In addition to the landscapes encountered, the canoe-catamaran tour is an endurance and navigation exercise, being very suitable for those who want to improve their muscle tone and physical condition.

On the first day, the camp will be set up on the bank of a canal in an isolated area, and on the second day the group will camp on a wild beach at Lake Razelm. Each participant must have their own camping equipment. For those who request it, we will provide a light tent, sleeping bag and raincoat.
The guide team will provide dinner, dishes prepared in a cauldron (fried fish or fish soup), depending on the time available. Participants will be tasked with helping to catch a sufficient amount of fish.
For the other meals, we recommend protein-rich products with a high energy intake to support your efforts during the route. Canned beans, peas or lentils, whey cheese, dried salami, dates, halva, bananas, but also some fresh vegetables.
It is not advisable to bring excess food, the total weight of the load should be as small as possible, but it is mandatory for each participant to have 5-6 liters of water. Participants will be on the trail for about 4 hours each day, the rounds being interrupted by rest breaks or picnics.
The route will cross a very diverse area, between Lake Razelm and the "mainland". We start from Dunavățul de Jos, following the canals and lakes to the first campsite located on the Mustaca canal, where a clearing sheltered by willow bushes awaits us. The further we get from the village, the wilder and more authentically deltaic the landscape becomes.
The second day we follow the Dranov Canal to the impressive confluence with Lake Razelm. We enter the Solomon ornithological protected area, a true labyrinth of nooks and crannies, where we can freely admire bird colonies. After a lunch break, we move along the waters of the huge lake, following the shoreline, to a wild beach with fine sand, where we will organize camp for the last evening.
The third morning, we break camp, continue on the lake, see another mouth and enter the Centurii canal and then the Fundea canal, towards land, crossing a jungle of perfect wilderness. After a few hours we reach land and disembark.
The route is designed to be completed by all participants, lasting approximately 4 hours each day, with the tours being interrupted by rest breaks and photo opportunities.
