The Danube Boilers

The Danube Gorge is perhaps the most exotic part of the country, unlike anything else in Romania. A land of waters and mountains, which creates a special, complex and wild landscape. It is an ideal region for carrying out adventure team building programs.

The area is very suitable for water sports, especially canoeing and kayaking, and tours can be organized along the entire length of the gorge. You can go hiking on the mountains that guard the Cauldrons, such as Ciucaru Mare, and caving in the Punicova cave, with direct access from the Danube. Higher up, at Băile Herculane, you can practice rafting and ww kayaking. The entire gorge can also be crossed by bicycle, as there are marked trails.

The Dierna ship cruises from Orșova, to the exit of the Iron Gates and the upstream end of the Danube Boilers, a trip that can be included in any team building event.

In the area, there are countless important tourist attractions; Tabula Traiana, the Face of Decebal, Mraconia Monastery, Trikule Fortress, and in the Almaj Mountains, Bigar Waterfall and the Rudaria Mulinological Reserve.

There is a good accommodation infrastructure, in the bays of Dubova, Eselnița and Orșova, many quality guesthouses have appeared, located right on the banks of the Danube.
