Fishing team

In a fishing competition, the members of a team must establish a strategy based on the skill of the members in this sport, so that each one occupies a role in the team stand. Different types of competitions can be organized; stationary fishing (with a rod from the shore), stationary carp fishing, predatory fish fishing with artificial baits, from the shore or from a boat, kayak, etc. The judges will award the largest quantity of fish and the largest catch.

Fishing is probably the oldest sport practiced by man, born from the need for food. Today it is a way of relaxation that many embrace, always being in the middle of nature to practice it. Sport fishing is divided into several disciplines, depending on the species of fish targeted and the types of water; carp fishing, stationary fishing, spinning (fishing for predatory fish with artificial baits) and sea fishing, underwater or from the surface.

Carp fishing has experienced a real explosion in the last 90 years with the advent of the rodpod (support for rods and acoustic/optical sensors) and cereal and flavor-based baits (boiles), with countless competitions, world cups and continental championships. Stationary fishing, practiced from the shore with fishing rods, is also very popular, with a very busy competition calendar. Spinning is the fishing with the greatest growth in terms of competitive and technical yield in recent years. Every year new clubs and publications, equipment and accessory manufacturers appear, and there are several professional championships.

In Romania, modern fishing methods have rapidly entered, with more and more followers for all disciplines. There is a very strong national spinning championship (spinner fishing), with Romanian fishermen achieving remarkable results in international competitions. For carp fishing, the results are even more important; the national team ranked first in the last world championships, culminating in the title of vice-champion.

In today's fishing, great value is placed on protecting the environment and aquatic fauna, for this reason live bait is not accepted and all games should be conducted in a "catch and release" system, meaning that every fish caught should be released.
